Founding Elder, Ryan Stanley
Ryan and Bekah Stanley are a devoted couple who have been joyfully married for eight years. Together, they are nurturing their three young children in the vibrant community of South Nashville, TN. Ryan received his formal pastoral ordination from Pastor Jeremy Rose and the elders of the Axis Church in Nashville in early 2024.
Ryan’s approach to ministry is deeply rooted in the conviction that theology should be more than an intellectual exercise; it must be lived out authentically in the footsteps of Jesus. His leadership is characterized by a commitment to practical, humble, and compassionate discipleship, inviting others to experience the transformative power of living the Gospel in everyday life.
Bekah, a beacon of faithfulness and selflessness, brings to their partnership a rich heritage of Christian devotion. Her lineage is a testament to generations of steadfast followers of Jesus, and she honors this legacy through her own life. Known among friends and community members as an exemplar of loyalty and sacrificial love, Bekah’s presence is a source of strength and inspiration within Harbinger Gospel Church.
Together, Ryan and Bekah seek to embody the spirit of servant leadership and are dedicated to fostering a church environment where everyone is encouraged to grow in their faith and live out the love of Christ in both word and deed.
Founding Members, James and Bekah Mitchell
James and Bekah Mitchell stand at the heart of Harbinger Gospel Church as founding members who have been instrumental in shaping its mission and vision. Their nine-year marriage is a testament to their commitment to faith, family, and community, as they raise their two young children with love and intentionality.
James’s passion for cultivating a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus is at the core of his life’s focus. He is fervently dedicated to guiding others on their spiritual journey, helping them to know Christ more personally and profoundly.
Bekah’s presence is a blessing to all who know her. Renowned for her genuine care and compassion, she has the unique ability to elevate the atmosphere of any room she enters, offering a sense of comfort and solace that is tangibly felt. Her kindness and empathy are cornerstones of our church community.
As we look to the future, we are filled with hope and anticipation for James’s installation as our first pastor after he completes his pastoral training through the Axis Church.
